This hands-on ceramics workshop will introduce advanced surface-decoration techniques. Minami will demonstrate the use of wax resist in combination with carving leather-hard clay to create precise, colored inlay designs. The workshop is open to participants interested in exploring new methods to enhance the quality and detail of their ceramic work.
**IMPORTANT: This workshop is for HPG members or current HPG students. Workshop participants must bring 1-2 leather-hard pieces.**

Cost: $25/person
Participants should bring the following:
One to two small leather-hard pieces
Underglaze and carving tools (if available; examples are shown)
Sketchbook and pencil
Any questions you may have
Carving tools will be available to borrow, though quantities are limited. A limited amount of underglaze will also be provided and shared among participants.
