Have you seen the fun embossed pieces coming out of the Saturday handbuilding class? Do you want to learn how to do it but can’t get into the class? Now’s your chance!

Create a charcuterie board or platter and small dishes in this hand-building workshop with Rayna K. Galati. Natural botanicals and embossing plates to form clay impressions will be provided, and underglazes will be used to create an organic look. You can choose from a variety of press molds to make your forms. You are welcome to bring herbs, ferns and flowers from your own garden.

• Cost: $55 for members, $65 for non-members. Priority given to HPG members. Non-HPG folks, please contact May (izumiriye@yahoo.com) to be put on the waitlist.

• Enrollment: Total enrollment is limited to 12 people. Please sign up by MONDAY, APRIL 1

• Supplies: Bring a fettling knife or other cutting tool. Optional: canvas cloth to work on. Instructor will provide the botanicals.

• Clay will be provided; bisque firing is included.

• If you feel sick, please DO NOT come to the studio. Contact May ASAP if you think you can’t make the workshop.
