Surface Conversations (Glazing Workshop) by Daven Hee
This is a hands-on ceramics workshop focused on expanding surface vocabulary through experimentation and layered processes. Participants will explore multiple glazing approaches, including wax resist as a drawing and design tool, intentional layering of glazes to create depth and movement, spraying techniques for soft transitions and atmospheric effects, and playful applications of oxides and wood ash to enhance texture and organic variation. This workshop is for anyone who wants to play with combining techniques and develop confidence when glazing.
